About Us

Learning For Humanity Alliance (L4HA) is Canadian registered charity established to disrupt poverty through education by delivering comprehensive digital learning resources to students educators and entire communities globally.

Our Mission

  • Disrupt Poverty Through Learning

We work with NGOs, Ministries of Education, donors and other interested organizations to provide Tusitawi Managed Service to schools throughout the developing world.

UNESCO has stated “If all students in low income countries left school with basic reading skills, 171 million people could be lifted out of poverty.”

  • Increase Healthcare Accessibility

Provide current medical learning resources to nursing and midwifery colleges.

Our Leadership

Sospeter Gatobu, PH.D.
Executive Director

Sospeter has over 15 years’ experience as an educator, communication specialist (including corporate, development and health communication), and program manager. He also has experience in strategic planning and visioning. This, together with his research and evaluation skills, and his experience working in both developed and developing world, helps provide strong leadership to Learning for Humanity Alliance.

Wilmer Martin
Development Consultant, Volunteer

Wilmer served for 27 years as an active pastor within the Mennonite Church prior to becoming the CEO of Habitat for Humanity Canada in 1991. Wilmer has traveled extensively with both Habitat for Humanity and as President and Co-Owner of TourMagination, visiting 86 countries on all 7 continents. He currently serves as a board member of The Fuller Center for Housing, the Galilee Charitable Foundation and Miracle of Nazareth International Foundation. His passion for empowering the poor through education, combined with his extensive experience in international development and fundraising are valuable resources for Learning for Humanity Alliance.
