Tax receipts for contributions will be automatically issued by Learning for Humanity Alliance (L4HA) for all donations of $20 or higher but will be issued for smaller amounts upon request (please email firstname.lastname@example.org). Tax receipts are sent out after the end of the calendar year.
Each donation given towards a Learning for Humanity Alliance project will go directly to that project. If there is an exception and it cannot be completed for any reason, or if the project is overfunded, the remaining contributions will be used where most needed, at the discretion of the Board.
Gifts by cheque or cash are receipted annually by mail by the end of February each year.
Online gifts are acknowledged immediately by email and receipted annually by the end of February by email.
Monthly automatic credit card withdrawals are acknowledged at withdrawal time and receipted annually by the end of February by email.
